A Review of the Fujifilm F440

Crutchfield Advisor - Digital Cameras, Camcorders & Printing - Travel Buddy: A Review of the Fujifilm F440 "Camera makers seem to be competing in two different races at the moment. One is the obvious megapixel race, as they struggle to fit higher and higher megapixel CCDs into their cameras. The other is the size race, as they pare down camera size to deliver the smallest, sleekest little cams around." (found at PhotographyBLOG)

Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ15 Review @ Steve's Digicams

Steves Digicams - Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ15 - User Review: "The Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ15 is a 4-megapixel digital camera with a high-quality Leica 12x optical zoom. The Leica DC Vario-Elmarit 12x zoom is equivalent to a 36 - 432mm zoom on a 35mm camera and has a constant F2.8 brightness throughout the entire zoom range. Panasonic's advanced MEGA O.I.S. (Optical Image Stabilizer) enhances the camera's telephoto zoom capabilities, helping to deliver sharp, vivid images even when taking handheld telephoto shots or shooting in low light."

Konica Minolta Maxxum 7d Review at Luminous Landscape. "This is a preliminary hands-on review of the brand-new Maxxum 7D. It was written in mid-October and was based on a week of field testing a pre-production camera. I was told by Konica Minolta that while the body itself was in final form, the firmware was not. For this reason minor glitches have been either overlooked or reduced in emphasis" (Found at PhotographyBLOG)

Konica Minolta DiMage X31 review by PC Magazine

Konica Minolta DiMage X31 review by PC Magazine: "The Konica Minolta DiMage X31 is a good 3.2-megapixel ultracompact camera geared to the novice shooter. If you're looking for razor-sharp images, this isn't the camera for you; nor is it particularly fast. Still, it's a good camera and far cheaper than most ultracompacts, including our Editors' Choice, the $500 (street) 5MP Sony Cyber-shot DSC-T1." (found at photographyblog)

The 5mp, 3x optical zoom BenQ DC-C50 is reviewed at TrustedReviews: "Despite its good looks, commendable build quality, and a relatively high level of manual control for the price, the BenQ DC C50 is basically limited to taking pictures on bright days at ISO 100 - and even then other cameras can still better it." Sony Cyber-shot DSC-W1 review by PC Magazine

Sony Cyber-shot DSC-W1 review by PC Magazine: "There's a lot to like about the compact Sony Cyber-shot DSC-W1: It's well-designed, with a beautiful, bright 2.5-inch LCD; it has a good button layout and simple menus; and it offers high-end features. Unfortunately, the camera's one real weakness was in the sharpness of its images, which keep it from being an Editors' Choice. If you're looking for a Sony camera, you'd do better to pick up the 5.1-megapixel Cyber-shot DSC-P100, which delivers crisp pictures for about the same price."

Panasonic Lumix DMC-FX7 Review @ Steve's Digicams

Lumix FX7 Steves Digicams - Panasonic Lumix DMC-FX7 - User Review "Panasonic's Lumix DMC-FX7 is a nice little digital package. This is a point-n-shoot that can be used by any member of the family. Canon PowerShot SD300 Review @ DCResource

DCRP Review: Canon PowerShot SD300 Digital ELPH: "The PowerShot SD300 Digital ELPH ($400) is a totally new design in Canon's line of compact point-and-shoot cameras. The SD300 takes everything that made the S400 and S410 great and makes them smaller -- except for the LCD, which got a lot bigger. Other new features include a 4 Megapixel CCD, great VGA movie mode, an AF-assist lamp, and a couple of manual of controls. The SD300 has a younger sibling, the SD200 ($300), which has a 3.2 Megapixel CCD and (in my opinion) a nicer-looking front panel."
