CameraHobby - Leica M3: "Since 1924, Leica has produced cameras that are collected and still used by photographers worldwide, but in 1954, Leica changed the game with what some consider to be their finest product, the M3 bayonet mount rangefinder camera. I'm not sure which is more significant, Leica's penultimate creation of the rangefinder camera, or the legendary optics that went with it. For both are considered very important individually, but when put together, many consider the two sublime, not only the alpha, but also the omega of rangefinder cameras."
