Nikon 2005 PMA Announcements
Thom Hogan has written an interesting commentary article regarding Nikon's latest digital camera announcements, including the Coolpix line - it makes for some interesting reading. (found at camerahobby.com)
Nikon 2005 PMA Announcements: "Most Nikon followers had high expectations for PMA 2005, but at least so far, I suspect that they're coming away a bit disappointed. (Never fear, I think there's at least one more set of announcements coming, most likely for lenses and accessories, and the current rumors are that at least one of the expected announcements will come later this spring or summer.) "

As a Digital virgin, I have been cosidering the coolpix 5200 and was surprised to see Nikon announcing 2 successors to it. To be honest, I'm now totally bewildered as I can't see much difference between the 2 new models. There isn't even that much that's different from the 5200!
Aperture priority would be nice - you can see i come from a non-digital background!
