New Rollei DP5500 and DP6000 Announced

Rollei DP5500LetsGoDigital have details of the new 5 megapixel, 1.8″ screen, 3x optical zoom Rollei DP5500 (pictured) – it looks very similar to the Pentax Optio 50, and the Konica Minolta Dimage E500. Get more details at Rollei’s website.

They also have details of the new Rollei DP6000, a 6 megapixel digital camera, with a 3x optical zoom lens, and a 2.5″ screen. There are more details on Rollei’s website.

I picked one of these up for 140 euros on cdiscount.It’s actually EXACTLY the same camera as a pentax optio 50.It takes incredibly beautiful pictures and I am thrilled to bits with it.I also tried an rollei prego da6 and it was one of the worst digital cameras I have ever seen. The lcd display looked like an out of register overhead projector and all of the photos were blurred. So dont get these two confused.
