Acer CR-8530 8 megapixel digital camera
Dabs.com are selling the 8 megapixel Acer CR-8530 compact digital camera for £190 including vat - could this be the cheapest 8 megapixel digital camera? It features a 3x optical zoom lens, a 2.5" screen, an optical viewfinder and a black metal body:
"You will capture all important details for as close as 5 cm away with the Macro Mode. Shooting is easy thanks to scene program modes from full automatic to full manual. With the 8-mega pixels resolution, your pictures will make a tremendous effect even in A3 format. The CR 8530 also comes with a 64 MB SD card, leather cover and USB cables to connect to other devices."

YES,ACER IS ACTUALLY STILL UNKNOWN IN THE DIGITAL CAMERA MARKET ,BUT HAVE RECENTLY BROUGHT OUT A FEW MODELS OF WHICH THE CR-8530 HAS THE HIGHEST SPEC OF 8M AND 2.5 LCD TFT SCREEN AND A HOST OF OTHER FEATURES AND IS ALSO THE CHEAPEST OF IT'S KIND ON THE MARKET.AND I AM TO TAKE THE PLUNGE SOON AND BUY ONE.WILL REPORT LATER
