Nikon D70s Review
Steves-Digicams review the new 6 megapixel Nikon D70s Digital SLR:
“The D70s is the 2005 successor to Nikon’s best-selling and affordable (under $1000) 6.1-megapixel D70 digital SLR introduced last year. The D70s is well suited for beginning photo enthusiasts, hobbyists and advanced users and offers a combination of superior image quality with robust performance.”

I have just returned a D70s as faulty because the auto mode and all the “digital vari-programs” gave grossly underexposed results. The replacement camera is exactly the same. Reading the internet forums this seems to be an unresolved problem. I can now take good photographs by overexposing by 1EV, natural light, but the maximum extra power on the built in flash still underexposes.I am now in a position where auto and all digital vari program modes are unusable. I have been in contact with Nikon Europe for a week with no satisfaction at all. Can anyone help?
