Ricoh Caplio R3 Firmware 1.27 Update

Ricoh have released an updated firmware version 1.27 for the Ricoh Caplio R3 - click here to download, it updates the following:

- Improved accuracy of the AF algorithm in the macro mode. - Improved accuracy of the vibration correction function.

First hand impression over 1.27 vs 1.24 is that the AF is indeed improved, especially when focussing on objects of coulours like orange, it doesn't like blueish...
However I have a strong feeling that the imagestabilization (IS) that was astonishing good, has been deteriorated slightly. But the noise-level of the IS has also been reduced.
The 1.24 allowed HANDHELD macro of objects down to 0.01mm per pixel!!!!
I haven't tried it with 1.27 (yet...)
