Samsung MM-A800 Camera Phone

CameraTown review the 3 megapixel Samsung MM-A800 Multimedia Camera Phone:

"The Samsung MM-A800 is the first 2.0-megapixel resolution camera phone to be released in the U.S. While 2-megapixel resolution seems pretty archaic in a world of 5-, 6- and 8-megapixel cameras, there is enough resolution to make photo quality 4"x6" prints, assuming the lens quality and compression levels don't hinder the image quality. How does Sprint's Samsung MM-A800 handle as a digital camera?"

Sony Cybershot DSC-T33 Review

Imaging-Resource review the ultra compact 5 megapixel Sony Cybershot DSC-T33 - it features a 2.5" screen and a 3x optical zoom lens:

"The DSC-T33 continues a Sony tradition of high quality in the subcompact category, packing more features into a smaller space than pretty much anything else out there, but with a new spin: the T33 is affordable. Most impressive is how few tradeoffs Sony was forced to make to achieve this. The DSC-T33 shows good image quality, with good color, and high resolution."

Olympus C-5500 / C-55 Zoom Review

Imaging-Resource review the 5 megapixel, 5x optical zoom lens Olympus C-5500 / C-55 Zoom:

"My first take on the Olympus C-5500 Sport Zoom was "nice enough camera, but nothing special." As I learned its capabilities and studied its photos however, I found myself warming to it quite a bit. When I finally got around to checking its "street" prices though, I was very pleasantly surprised : Widely available online for well under $250 (under $215 from some merchants), the Olympus 5500 is a real bargain for a 5x zoom, 5-megapixel digital camera."

Olympus C-170 D-425 Review

DigitalCameraInfo review the Olympus C-170 / D-425, a 4 megapixel version of the C-180/D-435, it has no optical zoom, but is very easy to use:

"As Naoki Tai, the product manager at Olympus Imaging America, Inc., put it, “The D-425 was developed with the first time digital camera user in mind. Every feature was designed for simplicity and ease of use.” This simple point-and-shoot is definitely easy to use and has a small price tag on it of $149. However, the cheap plastic construction and lack of optical zoom is disappointing. This is probably the cheapest camera with 4 megapixels currently on the market, so as long as consumers don't use the digital zoom, the pictures should be decent quality and easy to obtain."

HP Photosmart M417 Review

DigitalCameraReview review the 5 megapixel, 3x optical zoom HP Photosmart M417:

"Image quality with the M417 was only average. Outdoor shots (as with most digital cameras) came out fine, but not as sharp as they could be (the mid-summer Ohio humidity didn't help the clarity either). Indoors, the camera had some trouble with fluorescent lighting at times. Some of these trouble images has a yellow cast to them."

Samsung Digimax UCA5 Review

DigitalCameraReview review the 5 megapixel, 3x optical zoom lens Samsung Digimax UCA5:

"Overall, the U-CA5's image quality is a bit below average. The zoom is super sharp, but color is flat and under-saturated. Images look washed out because the U-CA5 has a consistent tendency to overexpose. Outdoor images often show burned out highlights and lack of detail in shadow areas. Pattern noise is noticeably above average, but well managed in ISO 100 and ISO 200 images. ISO 400 images show well above average noise levels."
