Fujifilm FinePix S9500 / S9000 Review

Fuji S9500ByteSector have published their review of the new 9 megapixel Fujifilm FinePix S9500 / S9000, it features 10.7x optical zoom lens, ISO upto 1600, and a 1.8" swivel screen:

"To go along with the 9MP CCD, the S9000 sports a massive 10.7x optical zoom lens which will focus in as close as 0.4 inches. This allows you to take an immensely diverse range of photos with both macro shots, as well as for far off objects. In order to control the zoom, Fuji opted for a ring on the lens barrel to simulate the SLR feel as well as to allow for fine tuning of both the focus and zoom of the lens. Unfortunately, the zoom and focus rings on this camera manipulate the lens electronically rather than mechanically. Most people won't notice this, but anyone coming in from SLR might. The lens offers a fairly good depth of field for a point-and-shoot camera with a range of f/2.8 to f/11 in 1/3EV increments. In addition to that, the camera is capable of taking 58mm lens filters for creating various effects with the lighting in the scene."
