Nikon Coolpix P3 Announced
Nikon have announced the new 8.1 megapixel Nikon Coolpix P3, it features a 3.5x optical zoom lens, a 2.5″ screen, wireless connection, 16 scene modes, and new to compact Nikon Coolpix cameras: optical image stabilisation / Vibration Reduction (VR):

Advanced features such as 11 point wide-area Auto Focus combine with an 8.1 megapixel resolution, a 3.5x optical Zoom-Nikkor lens and the latest Wi-Fi capability – technology that enables you to transfer your pictures directly to your computer or a compatible printer without the need for wires and cables. The Optical Vibration Reduction system (VR), an innovation derived from Nikon’s combined experience in nano-technology and professional photography, alleviates the effects of camera shake caused by slight hand movements.
