The End of the Bridge Digital Camera
PhotographyBLOG have published an interesting editorial on the end of the bridge digital camera - as more manufacturers concentrate on releasing Digital SLRs over producing bridge cameras such as the Olympus C-8080, Canon G-series, etc. Will you miss the bridge digital camera or are you happy with a compact cameras? Feel free to get involved in the discussion:
"The first ever digital camera that I bought was the Minolta DiMAGE 5 bridge-style camera, so-called because it “bridged” the gap between a smaller compact digital camera and a larger digital SLR. Now it seems that the bridge camera has become something of a dying breed, at least for those manufacturers with DSLRs in their product range."
