Samsung Digimax i6 Here’s a list of current unique digital cameras – I’ll define unique as having 1 or 2 out of the ordinary features. Lots of cameras have hardware anti-shake / optical image stabilisation these days, so a camera may need that plus something else to make it into this list. If a camera has one feature that no other camera of it’s type has then that would make it unique. Feel free to suggest any more you think I may have left out!

Fujifilm FinePix F30 – ISO3200 at full resolution in a compact digital camera. Allows better low light photography. Something some digital SLRs don’t feature! Read our Review (The Olympus Mju 810 features ISO3200 at a lower resolution)

Samsung L55W Samsung Digimax L55W – 2.8″ Wide-screen TFT – also features a 28mm 4.8x optical zoom lens. Was the only digital camera with a widescreen (until the Casio Z1000 was announced). 5mp, wide-angle 4.8x optical zoom lens. Olympus EVOLT E-330 – World’s first Digital SLR with live preview swivel screen – 7.5 megapixel sensor, 2.5″ screen.

Panasonic Lumix FX01 – World’s smallest wide angle digital camera with a 3.6x optical zoom lens, image stabilisation, a 6 megapixel sensor and a 2.5″ screen.

Cameras almost included: Panasonic Lumix LX1 features a 16:9 aspect ratio CCD sensor. (Numerous cameras offer the 16:9 aspect ratio now). Panasonic Lumix L1 – Panasonic’s new Digital SLR features live-preview with a fixed (non-swivel) screen. Are there any you think I’ve left out?
