Canon EOS 30D Digital SLR Review
LetsGoDigital have reviewed the new Canon EOS 30D Digital SLR - the EOS 30D features an 8 megapixel sensor, a 2.5" screen, DIGIC II processor, the camera is an update to the Canon EOS 20D. It offers upto 750 shots, and a 5fps continuous shooting mode:
"Compared to the Canon EOS 20D, the differences might be small, but they are far from absent or insignificant. Unfortunately Canon have not succeeded in equipping the Canon EOS 30D with a larger viewfinder, which we did find on the Nikon D200. Hopefully we will see a larger viewfinder with the next model (Canon EOS 40D?). Naturally, the most striking feature on the outside is the large monitor on the back of the camera. It has been enlarged from 1.8 inch to 2.5 inch, a considerable step. Another difference in appearance is the PictBridge button on the camera. Apart from this, a metal border around the command dial for the programmes and a different nametag are the only features to indicate a new digital SLR camera."
