Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ1 Review

Panasonic TZ1Megapixel.net have reviewed the new Panasonix Lumix TZ1, the world's smallest 10x optical zoom digital camera, the 5 megapixel camera features a folded optical zoom lens that runs along the inside of the body, with image stabilisation, a 2.5" screen, a VGA video mode, and high sensitivity mode with ISO800 and ISO1600. The Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ1 is available for £319 from Amazon UK:

"Unlike any other current digital camera, the DMC-TZ1 is equipped with a Leica DC Vario-Elmarit 10X optical zoom with folded optics, a term that Panasonic uses to describe the fact that the greatest part of the optical elements that comprise the lens are mounted horizontally within the camera's body, while others extend from the camera in the traditional way. This lens configuration allows a 10X zoom to protrude no more than a 3X zoom, making it very practical."
