Trusted Reviews have published their review of the new 8 megapixel Ricoh GR Digital - it features a 28mm wide angle lens, a 2.5" screen, and manual controls, all in a compact solid metal body:

"The GR Digital is loaded with features that will appeal to the enthusiast user, including live exposure histogram, spot metering, an aperture range from F2.4 to F9.0, a shutter range of three miuntes to 1/200th sec, an ISO range of 64-1600, an outstanding 1.5cm macro range and most importantly a RAW file mode. Ricoh claims that the GR Digital will produce image quality of professional standard, and I’d have to say that I agree, but with certain reservations."
