Any idea what this Digital Camera is?

Is it a Sony or a Konica Minolta? These curious auctions on ebay are selling a 10 megapixel "Sony Digital Camera" (DC500) - with an 8x optical zoom lens, a wide-angle lens adapter, and what appears to be an optical viewfinder. The design of the hand grip from the back of the camera looks more like a Konica Minolta Dimage Z5 / Z6! Is this what happened to Konica Minolta's Point and Shoot (non-DSLR) Digital Camera Business? Perhaps this is an unreleased prototype?

Update: Some are labelled as DC500, another R1, while another listing states the effective (actual) resolution to be 3 megapixels! These would definitely appear to be fake Sony digital cameras.
