Sony Alpha DSLR-A100 Full Review

Cameralabs have reviewed the new Sony Alpha Digital SLR DSLR-A100 - it features a 10.2 megapixel sensor with anti-shake, now called Sony Steadyshot, an anti-dust sensor, a 2.5" screen with 230,000 pixels, and a Minolta lens mount. Price is expected to be $899/£599 body only or $999/£699 with kit lens, with the camera becoming available next month:

"The result is a 10.2 Megapixel compact digital SLR with built-in anti shake capabilities which work with every lens you attach, an anti-dust system, long life battery, advanced image processing and a nice large LCD monitor. That's a pretty impressive spec, considering the kit with 18-70mm lens has a UK RRP of £699. Lets put it this way, it's much more than a Konica Minolta 5D with a new CCD sensor, and already a serious challenge to Canon's market-leading EOS-350D."
