Luminous-Landscape have reviewed a new 6 megapixel digital SLR, the Pentax K100D, it features a built in anti-shake CCD sensor, as found on the Konica Minolta Maxxum Dynax 5D and 7D (and the new Sony A100), this allows any lens used on the Digital SLR to benefit from anti-shake, allowing blur free low light or long zoom photos. The camera features a 2.5″ screen, more details below:
“So the upshot of my brief experience with the camera, and my appraisal of its situation in the current market, is that it tags along behind the Canikon category leaders offering – quite fairly – less for less, but, when called upon to compete head-to-head, it slaps its only direct competitor, the D50, smartly upside the head with its bargain anti-shake.”
