Olympus MJU 1000
Olympus have announced their new top of the range Olympus Mju 1000 – it marks 10 years of Olympus digital cameras – and features a 10 megapixel sensor, a 3x optical zoom lens, a 2.5″ screen, a stainless steel weatherproof body, and high ISO modes (ISO64 – 1600 at 10 megapixels, and upto ISO6400 at 3mp) to avoid image blur. It also has a new feature called “Perfect Fix” for correction of image blur, backlight (dynamic range), and red eye. The camera will be available in October:

“The Olympus µ [mju:] range is well known for cameras that push the very boundaries of technical achievement, without skimping on the style. The µ [mju:] 1000 retains the hallmark weatherproof* metal body of its predecessors, with a sophisticated silver finish, beneath which lies a 10.0 million pixel CCD and a 3x zoom lens, that together deliver razor-sharp results. Suited to low light photography, its light sensitivity can be boosted to an amazing 6400 ISO **, brightening the picture without spoiling the atmosphere with a flash.”
