Sony Alpha DSLR-A100 DSLR Review

Sony Alpha DSLRPocket-Lint have reviewed the new Sony Alpha Digital SLR DSLR-A100 - it features a 10.2 megapixel sensor with anti-shake, now called Sony Steadyshot, an anti-dust sensor, a 2.5" screen with 230,000 pixels, and a Minolta lens mount. The camera is available for around $899/£566 body only, $999/£586 with kit lens, and £829 with the twin lens kit:

"The Sony Alpha 100 provides a level of specification normally found on a camera costing over a £1000 more, but in a compact, fairly uninspiring (design wise that is) and lightweight body, but a body that does do the job very well indeed. Image quality is excellent and can only be improved by better lenses as they roll out of the factory and perhaps a firmware update to help iron out that noise reduction and detail loss as well."
