Fujifilm S3 Pro DSLR Discontinued?
Amatuer Photographer are reporting that Fuji have axed production of the Fujifilm S3 Pro Digital SLR and are due to announce a replacement DSLR soon.
Fujifilm recently announced the special edition version of the S3 Pro, the Fujifilm S3 Pro UVIR – it features the ability to take Ultra-Violet and Infra-Red photos (as well as visible light photos) and has a 30 second live CCD preview. The camera will be used for forensic investigation such as “the recovery of forensic evidence unseen by human eyes, such as bloodstains or gunshot residue, as well as damaged or obliterated writing.” and will be available in September.
