Panasonic Lumix DMC-LX2 Hands On

Engadget have published their hands on preview of the new 10 megapixel Panasonic Lumix LX2 - it's an update to the Panasonic Lumix LX1 (read our review here) - and features a wide angle 4x optical zoom lens with image stabilisation, ISO upto 1600, and a new larger 2.8" 16:9 wide LCD screen. It's available in black or silver.

"The images that we took were clean, crisp and quite fast. Furthermore, the 16:9 ratio made us feel like something of a filmmaker at times, with so much extra width. In short, if Panasonic wanted to trade us for that Fuji FinePix S3100 that you saw earlier, we'd gladly accept."
