Olympus Mju 750 BlackDCResource have reviewed the new Mju 750 (and Olympus Mju 740) – both cameras are ultra-compact, weatherproof, and feature a 5x optical zoom lens (36mm – 180mm equiv.), a 2.5″ screen, a 7.1 megapixel sensor and high ISO modes to avoid image blur. The Mju 750 goes one step further to avoid image blur and has built in image stabilisation using an anti-shake CCD sensor. The 740 is available in Pink / Red, Silver, and Blue, (for £201) and the 750 is available in Silver and Black (for £235):

“The Olympus Stylus 750 is one of those cameras that sounded really cool in the press release, but I ended up being less than enthused with it when I actually had one in my hands. While I like its stylish, all-weather body, 5X zoom lens, and image stabilizer, the photo and video quality is lacking, the LCD is hard to see outdoors, battery life is below average, and low light focusing left much to be desired. There are better cameras out there for your hard-earned money.”
