Ricoh RR730Think Camera have reviewed the new budget 7 megapixel digital camera from Ricoh, the Ricoh Caplio RR730, it features a 3x optical zoom lens, a 2.5″ screen, a 4x digital zoom, 6 scene modes, 32mb internal memory, 5cm macro mode, takes AA batteries, features ISO64, 100 and 200, but unfortunately only has a 320×240 resolution video mode at 30fps. The camera is compact and weighs only 120g.

“Like the RR660 this really isn’t a bad camera. Yes image quality could be better, yes battery life could be longer. But if what you really want is a cheap camera to shoot snaps on then it’s probably one of the best value cameras you will see. It’s also a great camera for somebody who struggles with all the modes and buttons on some of the other “entry level” cameras.”
