Sony Cybershot DSC-S500 Review
Cameras.co.uk have published the first online review of the new Sony Cybershot DSC-S500 – a budget 6 megapixel digital camera with a 3x optical zoom lens, and a 2.4″ screen, it looks very similar to the Pentax Optio E10 and Ricoh Caplio RR530, and has an ISO range of 80 – 400, 320×240 video mode, and takes AA batteries. The S500 is available for £115 from Amazon
“Overall the Sony DSC S500 is a bit of a disappointment to me. I was unable to produce a set of test photos up to the usual standard I see from Sony. It is not easy to find high quality digital cameras in this price range and although this camera is worth a look I think there are better cameras around.”
