Nikon D40 DSLR Review by Ken Rockwell

Ken Rockwell has reviewed the new Nikon D40 Digital SLR, it features a 6 megapixel sensor, a new compact body (although it's not as small as the Olympus E-400), a 2.5" screen, ISO 200 - 1600, 2.5fps shooting, a near-instant startup of 0.18 seconds. It ships next month for $599 / £449(!), which should make it an appealing Christmas Digital SLR. It's available for pre-order from Amazon UK for £449 with kit lens.
