Pentax K100D Digital SLR Review
DPReview have reviewed the new 6 megapixel digital SLR, the Pentax K100D, it features a built in anti-shake CCD sensor, as found on the Konica Minolta Maxxum Dynax 5D and 7D (and the new Sony A100), this allows any lens used on the Digital SLR to benefit from anti-shake, allowing blur free low light or long zoom photos. The camera features a 2.5" screen. The K100D with kit lens is available for £500:
"The K100D and K110D digital SLRs were announced in May 2006, aimed as a straight replacement for the *ist DS series (actually the DS2) these two SLRs are designed to appeal to the affordable end of the digital SLR market but don't compromise on features. The only difference between the K100D and K110D are that the K100D includes Pentax's own CCD-shift type 'Shake Reduction' system, where as the K110D does not."
