Sony Cybershot DSC-W35 Announced

Sony have announced the new Sony Cybershot DSC-W35 - a compact 7 megapixel digital camera with a 3x optical zoom lens, a 2" screen, ISO upto 1000, VGA video mode at 30fps, 2cm macro mode, 380 shot battery life, and 56mb internal memory. The camera should be available mid Febuary:

"The high quality Carl Zeiss Vario-Tessar lens offers a 3x optical zoom range and a 6x digital zoom capability along with a combined 14x Smart Zoom. The lens can also focus right down to 2cm shooting distance for extreme close-ups in Macro mode. Shots can be framed using the optical viewfinder as an alternative to the 2-inch LCD screen"
