Canon Powershot G7 Review

Canon Powershot G7W4RMK have reviewed the new Canon Powershot G7 - a 10 megapixel digital camera, it features a 6x optical zoom lens (35 mm film equivalent 35–210 mm) with optical image stabilisation (much like the recently announced Canon Powershot A710 IS), a 2.5" screen, face detection, ISO1600/3200, sound recording, an optical viewfinder, and a high resolution 1024 x 768 pixels (15 frames/sec.) video mode, as well as VGA / 30fps video mode. Battery life is rated as 220 shots, the camera measures 106.4 x 71.9 x 42.5 mm and weighs Approx. 320 g. The Canon Powershot G7 is available for £296 at Amazon

"If you are looking for a great, easy-to-carry camera that will produce excellent images, I would highly recommend the G7. As far as the Pro1 goes, it is discontinued and very hard to find even on the used market. It was a camera ahead of its time and still holds up against anything on the market today in the P&S category. It is a gem that is treasured by those who own one (including me)."
