Focus: Olympus SP-550 Hands On

Whilst Olympus didn't have a stand at Focus on Imaging 2007 - they were on hand at the Camera World stand - available to demo the new digital cameras - and to offer some amazing deals on digital cameras, such as the E-500 for £299 (refurb with lens), the E-330 for £399 (refurb with lens), and the E-400 for £499 (with lens).

Shown here, is the new Olympus SP-550 Ultra Zoom (18x telephoto lens set to full zoom!), it has a huge 18x optical zoom lens - equivalent to 28mm - 504mm in 35mm terms! The camera features an anti-shake CCD sensor image stabilisation system, a high resolution 2.5" screen and a 1cm super macro mode.
