Nikon have announced the new Nikon D40x Digital SLR, a 10 megapixel update to the Nikon D40, it features the same compact body, a 2.5″ screen, and adds a 10 megapixel sensor, ISO 100 – 1600, and 3fps shooting, it has a near-instant startup of 0.18 seconds. It ships at the end of March for $799 / £599 with kit lens. Nikon have also announced a new VR 55 – 200mm lens.
