Fujifilm FinePix F40fd Review

Think Cameras have reviewed the new 8.3 megapixel Fujifilm FinePix F40fd - it features a 3x optical zoom lens, an 8.3 megapixel Super CCD sensor with ISO upto 2000, a 2.5" screen, face-detection focus, VGA video recording, and a first for Fujifilm cameras, a the F40fd has a dual memory card slot, accepting both XD and SD memory cards. The camera battery life is rated at 300 shots and the camera is available for £214.

"The Fujifilm F40fd is a fabulous little camera. It is 8.3Mp, enough pixels for an enormous print and it's the first Fujifilm compact to take both XD cards and SDs. It copes exceptionally well with high contrast situations such as bright sunshine. The Fujifilm F40fd is a joy to use and never disappoints. I got loads of lovely photos some of which I am going to use in my camera club competitions. I've even printed some out! Praise indeed."
