Fujifilm FinePix F40fd Review

DCResource have reviewed the new 8.3 megapixel Fujifilm FinePix F40fd (aka F45fd) - it features a 3x optical zoom lens, an 8.3 megapixel Super CCD sensor with ISO upto 2000, a 2.5" screen, face-detection focus, VGA video recording, and a first for Fujifilm cameras, a the F40fd has a dual memory card slot, accepting both XD and SD memory cards. The camera battery life is rated at 300 shots and the camera is available for £162.

"The beauty of these cameras isn't really their design, lens, or feature set. Rather, it's their unique SuperCCD HR sensor with its hexagonal photo sites, which delivers much better high ISO performance than cameras that use regular CCDs. What this means in the real world is that you can get better quality photos in low light situations than on your typical compact camera."
