Canon Digital IXUS 950 IS SD950 IS Review

Pocket Lint have reviewed the new Canon Digital IXUS 950 IS / Powershot SD850 IS - it's an 8 megapixel update to the Canon Digital IXUS 800 IS / SD700, and features a 4x optical zoom lens with optical image stabilisation, a 2.5" screen, 230 shot battery life, ISO upto 1600, Face detection focus, and VGA video mode, it is available for £225:

"On the final analyses, the 950 IS looks expensive at £329, though, as always, try shopping around and you’ll find it for much less. It also has a few too many foibles for me to be able to heartily recommend it. The less-wide lens is problematic and the foibles with the focusing, detail loss in scene modes and the filled in shadow areas all made me worry."
