Casio have announced the new Casio Exilim EX-Z77 – with a new best shot mode called “YouTube Capture mode” – this allows you to record videos optimised for youtube.com. The camera features a 7.2 megapixel sensor, a 3x optical zoom lens, a 2.6″ screen, face detection, a high quality 848×480 video mode, weighs only 118 grams and will be available in red, black, silver, blue and pink. The camera it replaces, Z75, is currently available for only £99 from Amazon UK:

This high-quality movie function makes the most of next-generation H.264 compression technology and means that movies shot on these cameras save at the optimum size, quality and other settings for YouTube™, the world’s most popular online site for sharing videos.”
