Olympus EVOLT E-510 DSLR Review

PopPhoto have published their review of the new Olympus EVOLT E-510 DSLR, an update to the E-500, it features a new 10 megapixel live-MOS sensor, with live view, a new image processing engine “TruePic III”, dust reduction, shadow adjustment technology, and Supersonic Image Stabilizer Unit. The E-510 is available for £569 with kit lens, or £699 with twin lens.

"In our tests in the Pop Photo Lab, both cameras delivered exactly the same color accuracy, resolution, and noise results when mounted on a steady tripod -- due, no doubt, to their identical sensors and imageprocessing hardware. However, the E-510 showed better resolution in low-light field tests without a tripod, thanks to the camera's sensor-based image stabilization."
