Panasonic Lumic DMC-FX33 Announced

Panasonic have announced the new Panasonic Lumix DMC-FX55 – an update to the FX30, the FX33 is an ultra compact digital camera with an 8 megapixel sensor, wide angle Leica 3.6x optical zoom lens, 2.5″ screen and new “Intelligent Auto mode”:

“The bigger picture with the LEICA DC wide angle lens With the DMC-FX33 and FX55, Panasonic has packaged a 28mm wide-angle LEICA DC VARIO-ELMARIT lens with f/2.8 brightness and a 3.6x optical zoom (equivalent to 28-100mm on a 35mm film camera) plus an 8.1 megapixel CCD into a body that is slim, stylish and conveniently compact.”
