Canon Powershot A720 IS Announced

Canon have announced the new 8 megapixel Canon Powershot A720 IS - an update to the A710 and A700 - it features a 6x optical zoom lens with image stabilisation, a 2.5" screen, DIGIC III processor, and ISO upto 1600:

"This camera has features including an 8.0 Megapixel, 1/2.5-inch CCD, DIGIC III Image Processor, 6x optical zoom lens with a shift-type optical Image Stabilizer (IS) system and 2.5-inch LCD monitor. It uses two AA batteries to shoot up to approx. 140 images (based on the CIPA standard when the LCD monitor is on), and SD memory cards, SDHC memory cards, MultiMediaCards, MMCplus cards and HC MMCplus cards for the recording media. Images are utilized with a direct print compatible printer, computer and TV via USB 2.0 Hi-Speed."
