Digital Camera Info have published their review of the new Olympus EVOLT E-510 DSLR, an update to the E-500, it features a new 10 megapixel live-MOS sensor, with live view, a new image processing engine “TruePic III”, dust reduction, shadow adjustment technology, and Supersonic Image Stabilizer Unit. The E-510 is available for £559 with kit lens, or £659 with twin lens.

“The Olympus EVOLT E-510 bests the competition in a few areas. It has tons and tons of manual controls, although some are buried within menus or found only by experimenting with the many buttons on the camera body. The white balance can be tweaked in every way possible, there are five Metering modes, and even high key and low key options that pay special attention to the dynamic range. The E-510 has a dust reduction system and built-in optical image stabilization, features that other manufacturers are beginning to include.”
