Pentax Optio A40 Announced

Pentax have announced the new Pentax Optio A40 - the 12 megapixel digital camera features a 3x optical zoom lens, a 2.5" screen, mechanical and digital anti-shake, face detection focus, MPEG-4 DivX® (640 x 480) video recording at 30fps with anti-shake, 240 shot battery life and ISO upto 3200:

"Featuring 12 megapixels, the compact and stylish Optio A40 offers three types of Shake Reduction including mechanical, digital and movie. Each version helps deliver sharp, blur-free shots where camera shake is an issue such as action photography or in low light conditions at dawn, dusk or at night. This Optio also features the newest Face Recognition technology including a Natural Skin Tone mode and a Half-length Portrait mode, which automatically takes a head and shoulder photograph of subjects."
