The Sony Cybershot DSC-W55 - this compact metal digital camera has a 3x optical zoom lens, a 7 megapixel sensor, 56mb of built in memory, and a 2.5" screen, and is available for only £92 from Amazon UK with free postage. Although be warned, you will need to buy Sony Memory Sticks for this camera, as it doesn't take standard SD cards.

The Fujifilm FinePix S5700 - for only £107 you can buy this 7 megapixel digital camera with a 10x optical zoom lens, a 2.5" screen, 27mb of built in memory, which can be upgraded with XD or SD memory cards. It's one of the cheapest ultra zoom digital cameras available, and is only £105 from Amazon including VAT and free postage!

The 8 megapixel Fujifilm FinePix F40fd features better than average low light performance and face detection focus, great for indoor party shots, it also features a 3x optical zoom lens, a compact metal body, and a 2.5" screen.
