Nikon D40x Digital SLR Review
Photography BLOG have reviewed the new Nikon D40x Digital SLR, a 10 megapixel update to the Nikon D40, it features the same compact body, a 2.5" screen, and adds a 10 megapixel sensor, ISO 100 - 1600, and 3fps shooting, it has a near-instant startup of 0.18 seconds. The D40x is available for £378 with kit lens.
"Colors are rich at default settings and there are a bunch of internal image optimizing settings to tweak the color if default is not your cup of tea. There’s a decent continuous shooting capability, and ISO performance is good. Folks moving into a DSLR from a P&S will feel right at home with the auto and scene program modes."
