Canon Powershot G9 Review
LetsGoDigital have reviewed the new 12 megapixel Canon Powershot G9 - it features a 6x optical zoom lens with image stabilisation, a 3" screen, DIGIC III processor, 1cm macro mode, RAW image support, and ISO upto 1600. The G9 is available for £293:
"The Canon PowerShot G9 is not the perfect compact camera but getting close. Maybe the Canon G10 will be it. We would like larger wide angle, less pixels (indeed you read it correctly!), improved RAW support and additional features such as wireless operation. Other than these items not much else has to be altered. For now I am very pleased with the Canon G9 and it's about time to go out again and start photographing with this camera."

Well I'd like a proper front grip,a better quality sensor,longer battery life,a better optical view finder with full info so you can use that all the time instead of the LCD which drains battery life, the ability to use ordinary AA batteries and a wider angle lens.
