Fujifilm FinePix F50fd Review

DPReview have reviewed the new Fujifilm FinePix F50fd - a 12 megapixel update to the F40fd, the digital camera features a 12 megapixel 1/ 1.6-inch Super CCD HR sensor, 3x optical zoom lens, a 2.7" screen, digital and mechanical image stabilistion (CCD sensor shift), ISO upto 1600 (at 12mp), 3200 (at 6mp), and 6400 at 3mp, Xd / SD card support, face detection, infra red port, and VGA 30fps video support. "The good news is that - forgetting the F31fd for a moment - the F50fd is an excellent point and shoot camera that deserves a place near the top of its class. Sure, Fujifilm listened to its marketing department and installed a 12MP sensor, but the F50fd's high ISO performance is still surprisingly good."
