Fuji Z20fdFujifilm have announced the new ultra compact Fujifilm FinePix Z20fd – the camera features a 10 megapixel sensor, 3x optical zoom lens, 2.5″ screen, MPEG-4 VGA video mode, ISO upto 1600, and face detection focus. It will be available in Ice Blue, Sable Black, Chrome Green, Champagne Pink and Diablo Red from April:

Fuji S8100fdFujifilm have announced the new Fujifilm FinePix S8100fd – an update to the S8000fd – it features a new 10 megapixel sensor, a wide angle 18x optical zoom lens, a 2.5″ screen, high ISO settings, anti-shake sensor, and will be available in March:

“Continuing on the success of the FinePix S8000fd, the 10 Megapixel FinePix S8100fd integrates a Fujinon 18x wide angle optical zoom fixed lens (27mm – 486mm equivalent), and new Zoom Bracketing and Instant Zoom modes give the user more flexibility than ever before. The sealed, fixed-lens system prevents dust contamination and eliminates the need for additional zoom or wide angle lenses, making it an easy-to-use, affordable alternative to the complex DSLR system.”

Fuji S1000fdFujifilm have announced the new Fujifilm FinePix S1000fd – the new camera is the World’s smallest 12x optical zoom lens digital camera – and features a 10 megapixel sensor, manual controls, ISO 1600 at full resolution, and a 2.7″ screen. It takes 4 AA batteries and will be available from March:

Fuji J50Fujifilm have announced the new Fujifilm Finepix J50 – it is part of a new budget range of Fuji cameras – and looks like an evolution of the F480 – it features a 5x optical zoom lens, an 8 megapixel sensor, a 2.7″ screen, ISO upto 800, digital image stabilisation, and the same disappointing 320×240 video mode. The camera will be available in silver or black from March:

“The FinePix J50 takes things a step further, adding a high resolution 2.7″, 230K pixel LCD and a powerful Fujinon 5x optical zoom that provides a 37mm – 185mm equivalent focal length range. Despite the larger zoom and screen the FinePix J50’s compact design is remarkably svelte, at only 23mm thick.”

Fuji F100fdFujifilm have announced the new Fujifilm FinePix F100fd – the new “top of the range” F series camera features a 12 megapixel sensor, a wide angle 5x optical zoom lens, a 2.7″ screen, Wide Dynamic Range, Dual Image Stabilisation (anti-shake sensor), Face Detection 3.0 Technology, ISO upto 12800(at 3mp), and it’s also the first F series camera to feature manual aperture and shutter settings since the F31. The camera will be available from March:

Fuji J10Fujifilm have announced the new Fujifilm Finepix J10 – it is part of a new budget range of Fuji cameras – it features a 3x optical zoom lens, an 8 megapixel sensor, a 2.5″ screen, ISO upto 800, digital image stabilisation and a disappointing 320×240 video mode. The camera will be available in silver or black from March:

Canon have announced the new Canon Digital IXUS 80 IS / PowerShot SD1100 Digital ELPH IS – it features an 8 megapixel sensor, a 2.5″ screen, a 3x optical zoom lens with image stabilisation, face detection focus, an optical viewfinder, and will be available four or five colours (depending on location) from March priced at £219:

Canon have announced the new Canon Powershot A590 IS – like the A580 it features an 8 megapixel sensor, 4x optical zoom lens, 2.5″ screen, face detection focus, and takes AA batteries – but adds full manual controls, support for optional lens accessories, and optical image stabilisation. It will be available from March priced at £159:

Canon Powershot A580Canon have announced the new Canon Powershot A580 – it features an 8 megapixel sensor, a 4x optical zoom lens, a 2.5″ screen, face detection focus, and takes AA batteries. It will be available from March priced at £139:

Canon Powershot A470Canon have announced the new Canon Powershot A470 – it features a 7 megapixel sensor, a 3.4x optical zoom lens, a 2.5″ screen, takes 2 AA batteries, face detection focus, and will be available in grey, orange, green, red and blue. It will be available from March priced at £109:
