Sony Cybershot S750 S780 Announced

Sony have announced two new budget digital cameras - the 8 megapixel S780, and the 7 megapixel S750 - both cameras feature a 3x optical zoom lens, face detection, 2.5" screen, ISO upto 1250, and take Lithium-Ion batteries:

"They’re also the first Cyber-shot S-Series models to use a high-capacity Sony lithium ion battery instead of standard alkaline cells. This ensures a thinner, lighter profile than previous S-Series cameras. In addition, the slim-line battery takes up less space than conventional cells when you’re carrying spares in a pocket or bag: great when you’re away from home for longer periods and don’t want to run out of power."
