DPExpert have reviewed the new Nikon D300 Digital SLR - it features a 12.3 megapixel sensor, 6 fps (8 fps with optional battery) shooting, dust reduction, live view modes, 3" screen, weather resistant seals, and ISO upto 3200. The D300 is available from Amazon for £1099:

"The D300 is in a class of its own. The Sony a700 shares the same CMOS sensor and LCD screen and costs considerably less, and the Olympus E-3 is a few hundred dollars cheaper and they are both cameras worth considering. But if money is no object then the Nikon is hard to beat."
