Nikon D60Trusted Reviews have reviewed the new Nikon D60 Digital SLR – an update to the D40x – it features a new dust reduction system, Eye-Sensor, a 10 megapixel sensor, 3fps shooting, takes SD cards, 520 shots battery life, 2.5″ screen, however still has the same limitations, in that it doesn’t feature exposure braketing, and requires AF-S and AF-I NIKKOR lenses. However, one of the main benefits of the D60 is that it’s now available with a new Nikkor AF-S 18-55 DX II VR lens for only £504.

“Nikon has taken the Expeed processor from the D3 and D300 models and put it at the heart of the D60, promising improved tonality and colour rendition, as well as allowing some post processing features, which we’ll talk about later. Another new addition is the dust reduction system which features the Image Sensor Cleaning System to reduce dust on the sensor via vibrations, along with the new Airflow Control System which passes air from the mirror box to small ducts in the camera base to clear dust away from the sensor.”
