The Online Photographer have published a three part review of the new Olympus EVOLT E-510 DSLR, an update to the E-500, it features a new 10 megapixel live-MOS sensor, with live view, a new image processing engine “TruePic III”, dust reduction, shadow adjustment technology, and Supersonic Image Stabilizer Unit. The E-510 is available for £429 with kit lens, or £547 with twin lens.
“If, on the other hand, you can live with smaller print sizes and with ISO 800 as your practical limit, the E-510 will often surprise and delight. I was shooting with the 14–54mm Zuiko, and found its resolution, micro-contrast, tonality, and flare resistance outstanding.”
