Canon Digital IXUS 90 IS SD790 Announced

Canon have announced the new Canon Digital IXUS 90 IS / Powershot SD790 IS - the ultra compact camera features a 10 megapixel sensor, a 3x optical zoom lens with optical image stabilisation, a 3" screen, and the battery life is rated at 330 shots:

"This camera has features including a 10.0 Megapixel, 1/2.3-inch CCD, DIGIC III Image Processor, 3x optical zoom lens with a shift-type optical Image Stabilizer (IS) system and 3.0-inch LCD monitor with wide viewing angle. It uses Battery Pack NB-5L to shoot up to approx. 330 images (based on the CIPA standard when the LCD monitor is on), and SD memory cards, SDHC memory cards, MultiMediaCards, MMCplus cards and HC MMCplus cards for the recording media. Images are utilized with a direct print compatible printer, computer and TV via Hi-Speed USB. The dimensions (excluding protrusions) of the main body are 91.6 x 56.8 x 20.9 mm (3.6 x 2.2 x 0.8 in.) and the weight is approximately 155 g (5.5 oz.)."
